Finally got the Cecco Farm Bumper on - just need to do the frame tie in!

Went with the red shackles to match the ones on the front stubby.

Did have an interesting development Sunday- was spewing coolant all over the engine bay…turns out the supply line slipped off the plastic connector (the steel clamp was slid down the line about 3”. Unsure if it wasn’t snugged up at the factory, but was able to use vise grips to get it all tight. Then took the pressure washer to clean up the mess.

Well I got rear ended by a new f350 in my Roxor. Yea fun so fun. Did more damage to the Ford than the Roxor.
I stopped for a school bus unloading in the lane next to me and as I was slowing down and almost stopped I heard my what I thought was my brakes locking up. No it was the guy in the Ford behind with his brakes locked up. Wham! He hits me and pushed me ahead about 5 feet or so.
He apologized and gave me his insurance info. So the next day I called his insurance and they were expecting my call. I found the tailgate and latch on eBay for under 300 dollars. I called my body shop that I use and I buy the parts and they do the work and reimburse me for the parts. Looks like just a tailgate and latch system and some small body work.
I think the spare tire took the hit the most and cushioned the rest.
The guy that hit me his was beat up pretty good but no metal damage just all the plastic parts... grill bumper.

I still haven't done the frame tie in. It's been 4 years now, and I've been yanked out backwards of the snow and mud, towed my car hauler trailer around the yard, pulled a lot of stuff out the ice with 4wd clutch dumps.

Changed fluids in everything but the transmission. Had to find some 5/16 bar stock to remove the transfer case drain plug. Nobody this side of the planet carries M16x2.00 drain plug so I have to order a replacement with a normal hex next time I swap out the fluid.

Put on the diesel freak doors and OTR roof. Gonna do the OTR folding windshield tomorrow and the MasterTop zip down wind stopper "cab curtain"

33 degrees and raining, I'm surprised I did this much today. Reconditioning the battery over night, barely able to crank today.

Need to find some hub centric wheel spacers, my tires are getting chewed up on the leafs. Looks like the rear wheels are lug centric, never noticed that before.

Is that the one that takes the 5/16S?

It is an 8mm plug socket, if I remember right. I ordered a set of an 8mm and 10mm plug sockets off Ebay and it fit perfect. Like this one:

5/16 bar stock worked so yeah that would work. Problem is parts stores don't carry them here or don't understand English when spoken plainly over the phone. Unfortunately I'm only at the location I keep my roxor for a couple days at a time for now. So I have to have everything I need delivered and make due if I'm missing something. My dad uses it more than I will for a long time and he's not going to do the maintenance/upgrades I want done for when I use it before the parts get lost in the void of his barn.

Put a set of the GI Store canvas seat covers on. These were a *itch. They are VERY tight going on, so I highly recommend another set of hands to compress the seat padding while you man handle the seat backs on. I took the seats out for doing the bottoms. That was easy. Only 4- 13mm bolts per side.

Kind of like Reverse Skinning a Deer?
Skinning a deer is easier! Went for a ride and went up and over a back country muddy, snowy mountain pass in the Rox after finishing those seat covers up. Holy crap. That was the closest to getting this thing stuck since I've owned it. Thank God I locked the hubs before we got up the mountain! She got muddy today.
