Went to Go Topless at the beach here in Ocean Shores Wa. Close to 700 showed up for a beach cleanup. Was a great time. They built a sand hill for jeeps to play on. Nothing special, but several rigs gave up on it. After a time I put mine in low and just let it creep up and over to the amazement of onlookers. Several asked how old my "jeep" was lol. Was laughed at when I told them it was a 2019. Many asked where they could get one.
I do believe that Roxor enthusiasm will pick up in time. They just need to be exposed to the masses. When asked how much they were I just told them much cheaper than a SXS in the long run, and for some much cheaper out the door.

Last weekend I was about an hour and a half from home when the starter refused to turn over the engine anymore. A nice guy in a pickup came by and gave me a short tow and I got it bump started. This weekend I put in my new aftermarket gear reduction starter. I can't speak to its long term durability, but so far I am very impressed by how quickly it turns over and starts the engine, especially on a cold start.

Hey Box, was your starter failure immediate without indication or were there signs that it was coming up?

I had some warning signs 4-5 starts ahead of when it died for good. It cranked very slowly like the battery voltage was dropping low, so I assumed that was the case and brought my lithium jump pack with me. Unfortunately that did nothing to make the starter work after it fully died.

Installed glass in the on the rox windshield frame. Lasted 5 minutes until it popped out in my lap at 40mph. Is there a top speed with CJ Glass in the kit?

On the rox windshield frame is not compatible with on the rox roof. Had to modify it a bit. Will retry the install tomorrow with rope and soapy water. The gasket stayed in the frame but the glass just came right out.

Cloud, that is interesting. I have the 2022 cab model, and I just had a local glass company install DOT approved glass. I have one issue though, the frame pulses while I am driving 50 - 60 mph. So, I will install two stops at the base of my windshield.

I recall someone else having issues with the folding windshield and top. Evidently they don’t play well together. The locking of it in the upright position and the top don’t mesh well. I have the OTR solid windshield frame and top and no issues. As for the glass. I’ve had mine on the trailer upwards of 80 plus and no issues. I’m betting you have the glass cut slightly too narrow allowing just enough play for it to pop out at speed. You said CJ glass. Did you just try and put a precut CJ glass in the OTR frame? If so I bet that’s your problem. Every time I’ve had glass put in mine the glass company custom cut mine to fit.

I used the CJ Glass from quadratec that otr days to use.

I may have installed the gasket backwards according to the diesel freak video (better instructions than otr for the glass)

For compatibility I had to put spacers between the windshield clamp and the frame. Otherwise the frame deflected so much that it was nowhere close to straight. If I followed the install instructions the windshield frame was about .75" away from meeting the roll cage. I used the spacers from the back rops clamps and got longer screws. I pushed the roof back as far as possible. The rear rops clamps are at a very extreme angle. I'll need to drill new holes one day.

@USMC what do you mean by two stops? Got any pictures of this idea?
