OFFICIAL: What did you do to your Roxor today?

Finished my half doors. 22 ga steel with edges bent 90 degrees, welded to 3/4" square upper rail and 1/2" lower rail bent around old brake disks. Finished with seals and truck bed paint. Simple, rigid and light. Ideas acquired from this forum.

Built this the other day and wasn’t sure how often I would use it. It has come in handy quite a bit. Probably going to upgrade and add a electric winch as well.
I also Lincoln locked both axles and did a homemade twin stick, added lock out hubs to the front and replaced the bearings with timkins from torque king, very happy with the results.

I put some aluminum tube fenders and a fan shroud in this week. Had to trim the Cecco rockers for them to fit but all is good. Then I had the tube fenders and rockers powder coated. Came out nice.

That’s a really good looking rear bumper. Have you found issues with cooling on your rig? What was the cause for the fan shroud?

No issues with cooling. Sort of. I’ve always run around 188-190 with it sometimes spiking a bit at stop signs from the sudden loss of wind then immediately dropping once I’m rolling again. That huge 8274 up front isn’t helping any at all. Once I got that trekmaster I found that temps liked to run around 195 empty and even pulling light loads it was getting to 200 very easy. Not knowing what’s too hot I backed out if it to keep temps under 200. This meant generally running around 55 with outside temps in the mid 90s. I haven’t pulled it far enough with the fan to see how much it helps but it appears from my few short hauls with it I’m gonna run about 5 degrees cooler and/or see the temps fall much faster as the thermostat opens. Hoping it’ll stay at that 195-200 no matter the load or ambient temp.
