Was out with some folks and was talking heaters in their sxs rigs. One fellow told me he had a heater that he would give me, wow.
Went and picked it up and gave him an oil change kit for his polaris. He had ordered it and it was the wrong one so they sent him another and told him to keep the one he had.
I took the heat flow valve off and plumbed it in. Bolted it to the dash, had to bend the support so it looked right, made a 1x1/8 flatbar for a backing plate to make it more sturdy and walah! So nice to have a warm cab. I built the cab with full doors and halfdoors for summer fun.
When putting it in routing the water hose I realized the water shut off on the heater had to be taken off as the intercooler needed the flow. If need be I can put in a bypass cutting the heater out of the loop in summer, but just turning the blower off it should be just fine. no different that a car.
