Has anyone installed their gauges in the dash? I'm installing water, oil pressure and volt meter and would really like to install in the dash
Yes. There's a post about it not too far downHas anyone installed their gauges in the dash? I'm installing water, oil pressure and volt meter and would really like to install in the dash
I have a greenly knockout set that will work perfect for this. May need to Dremel the hole a little larger but definitely do-ableI’ve done it, fairly easy to do. Wiring the back lights is rather tedious. Be careful with the hole saw. They like to wander around and scratch the dash coating. Diesel Freaks had the engine adapters for oil pressure and water temp.

Yeah, sorry, I saw that after I posted my questionYes. There's a post about it not too far down
That looks great. There is so much real estate to work with, the possibilities of mounting locations is just about endless. Did you use the factory grommets in the firewall?I put my gauges in back in 2018. 3 right side of main gauge. Tape dash to avoid scratching. I used 2” gauges. Worked perfect. View attachment 7386
Only when turning. I want my gauges front and center so I only need to glance down.Do you have any visability issues with the wheel?
Just over 50 at stock idle (850), over 80 at redline (3200). I'm hoping to lower my idle speed to 600 when I get it tuned. I rarely run it over 2500.So what is the oil pressure at idle and under load?
Thanks.You did a nice job.
That's about the location I chose for my gauges
