I used the NAPA equivalent of the WIX 51626, the NAPA ProSelect 21626 and it appears to work well. $4.99 at local NAPA store so I stocked up on them.

Idk how you found that. I really tried but I failed miserably until I found vp. I can't even tell which amsoil is API ck rated...

I'm a dealer, Api is a standard rating for fluids to meet the minimum standard. Amsoil exceeds all the minimum. Remember all these ratings are what oils need to meet, Amsoil always goes above a beyond those ratings. Their products are so good that they put a warranty on the product not to cause failure in the applications. In essence I have a warranty on every part of my Roxor that I have Amsoil in. Can't get that with much of the fluids on the market.

Just changes all of mine. As you know I am a huge Amsoil guy. So As far as the fuilds, Amsoil is my route. I did notice the trans case uses what is called a S 5/16 (kind of a special tool, I found at Napa, see pics). The front and rear are a 10 hex and the transmission as well. Hope this helps!

Since Amsoil seems to so highly recommended I have been looking for some to buy for my Transfer case and transmission. But I am somewhat confused, I realize that it must be GL-4 and labeled as safe for yellow metals I cannot find that on a Amsoil listing and the closest amsoil I can find to the recommended 85/90 is an 80/90

The spec sheet says that "Can also be used in axles where an API GL-4 lubricant is recommended." but does not mention transmission or yellow metals at all....

Please advise what amsoil gear oil will work....

Thanks....

It will be the exact same fluids I put in, when I get home I'll look it up. I swapped everything out to amsoil for peace of mind
