I am running 33-230443 in front (soft rate)
And switching to 33-230313 in the back (soft)from the 33-185590 (firm) in the rear

My experience is the firm rate is better on roads, less body roll

Softer rate is better on trails, but might get in a bounce cycle on pavement, and there is more body roll

Tbh the difference is pretty subtle

did you have to do a new front drive line or lengthen it?

I don’t know if the 1.5” superlift springs are the way to go or not, haven’t taken it out enough

They seem stiff as I cannot get the axle to the bump stops at full articulation, one test with no shocks on so I know that wasn’t limiting travel

@txroadkill do you mind sharing how much it cost?
I’m not gonna post the total I paid because it also included other fab work some of which was optional and another which might not apply to your roxor. They had to straighten the rear frame on mine as it was bent and not sitting square. Both frame rails where the bushings mount were leaning inwards Causing the shackles to have a weird lean in them. This was like that from the factory; could have been a max in quality control standards or possibly damaged in frame shipment. Doesn’t really matter why and how only that it had to be fixed.

No problem. Just curious. I’ve taken mine to a local guy and he hasn’t given me an estimate yet. He’s not ready to start so I’ll find out soon enough.

It’s a big job, mine was mixed with other tasks like roll bar mods and fluids change and things

I’ll just put it this way regarding the cost of the install. the kit plus the package diesel freaks has to complete the modifications is probably fairly close to the labor costs. So whatever you spend in parts plan to spend at least that much in install labor. Don’t be surprised if additional things pop up that need to be handled or you wish to get done at the same time as this will drive the labor costs up. this is just a rough rule of thumb and local shop rates will affect your situation.

Cost can very greatly. you use to be able to get springs for $90. looking around it seems wade bought pretty much all that was left after Rubicon express went out of business. Its looking like Rusty's offroad and skyjacker are the only ones left making quality yj leaf springs. BDS and zone may work if you add a leaf or 2. there are still several options for stock height springs. depending on height the front drive shaft may not need replaced or it may need lengthened. a all new driveshaft could cost $250-300. lengthening at a drive shaft shop will be less depending on the shop. shocls are as expensive as you want them to be from 50 a corner to 2500 a corner. Don't forget longer brake lines from Diesel Freak! And of course self install saves a ton of money.

Very curious how are those springs working out?

Hey Max I bought another roxor and need another long travel kit. How do I get on your list again? What is your price now? I love my setup on my 2019. Stock height and bilsteins.

The 1.5” springs?
The reason I went with 1.5” is I didn’t want to high of a center of gravity. I am on 33” tires too, I think a high lift would give it on stilts look, and 35”s would be a better fit.

I think the ride height is perfect for me
The ride is better than stock, there is a really rough trail we use here, before: first gear idle speed, now 2nd gear idle speed.

The system looks good and seems much sturdier than stock

Rear: I was hoping to get full travel to the factory bump stops on compression and full extension to the shock limit. On an articulation test I cannot get to the bump stop, it is possible I am hitting the inner fender well, but I don’t think so, the shock compress length is shorter than the travel

On extension with both wheels extended The down travel does not extend to the shock limits, maybe short 1”

There was a mounting hole to be fabricated in the rear, I seem to remember 2-2.5”, we did 2 1/4”

Bottoming out in the rear does not seem possible

Fronts
I bought 2” bumpstops, the shock compressed length would compress the bump stop 3/4” maybe? On articulation I can’t get to the bump stop, the tire hits the inner fender well, on extension side it seems to get pretty good droop, but short of the extended shock limit

Long story short I think the springs are on the stiffer side, I bought a pair of RE1430’s, but haven’t had Time to change them out for comparison

I am running Bilstien 185590 on the back
230443 on the front

I have a softer shock rate shocks on the work bench for the rear but have not had time to change them out to see how they do

I like the system
