Universal Tachometer Install

I bought a universal tachometer that is fed off the alternator

the directions say to hook to the "W" terminal

the Roxor wiring diagram shows the L Terminal , B+ Terminal, and the primary terminal that is the cable to the battery

Which terminal do I try?
