I’ve decided I’m going to install a Torq locker in the front. Does anyone know of a good video showing all the steps? I’ve never installed a locker before.

I'm not a big fan of YT videos, but this one gives you a good idea. I'm doing the same as soon as I find my locking hubs.

These do work well, they just raise hell with the center pin after time. I did these on a 1/2 ton back in the day as Loc-Rite. The front doesn't get much use, so probably fine for dam near forever. But for the rear, since that is always used, I think its worth noting so people are aware. The way they lock is the pin is under the power of the driveline and tries to go between the torq locker halves, pushing them out and locking the axle that has resistance. It does the job well, but the torq locker halves eventually dig into and deform the pin. Probably won't develop a major issue, Just gains slop, until you need to remove it and it won't come out because the deformed metal makes it almost impossible to slide the pin out. Not trying to scare anyone, like I say, they work well. They're just noisy and a pain in the arse to remove after many miles of use. I know Loc-Rite recommended a hardened pin for any application that uses a locker such as this. I haven't researched if a hardened Dana 44 pin fits the same in this carrier. But, It's very possible that the lighter weight of the Roxor will help in NOT having this issue. Just thought it was worth noting. In any case, a fire wrench will make short work of removal of the pin if that need ever arises! ;)

I put loc-Rites in both front and rear of my 88 Grand Wag, both axles Dana 44, that I turned into an offroad machine back in the early 2000's. I absolutely loved the Loc-Rites and had no complaints. The lockers locked up tight when throttle was applied and unlocked when you pull off the throttle and ratcheted in parking lots when idling around. Never had any tire chirping or skipping on pavement or in tight turns in parking lots, as I was always light on the throttle when on pavement and not going in a straight line. Of course front hubs were always unlocked on pavement, and the longer wheel base helped I am sure.
