Tires

I have a 2019. I’m looking at new tires and I like a tallish skinny and I was thinking on 255/85R16 on the stock rim. I have the 1.5” climax lift shackles from DF, 1.5” wheel spacers, and the heavy duty heim steering from DF. Currently there are 265/75/r16 on here and I have no issues. Should that new size work out? Anyone with a similar setup?

I run with the Pro Crawlers 35 x 10 x 16. You would need 2-inch wheel spacers on the front at least, to keep the tires from rubbing on tight turns.

I am running the stock rims also.

Also, mine runs good on the street but if I do a 45-degree cut across a deep ditch my rear tires rub the lip of my tub. A slight body lift would help me.

I think you would not have those issues. The 33s would probably work easily. I had done all my measurements before I went with the 35s and I am right on the edge with my setup. 2-inch difference is quite a bit and my 35s run true to 35-inch height.

You won’t have to trim anything

You might have to play around with wheel spacing in the front

They may rub the inner fenderwell in front if you do full articulation of the suspension 4x4ing but won’t do and damage but polishing off paint


I am running 33x12.5x15 with no issues except as mentioned

I would do it
