Hi Folks. I am installing Max’s shackles on the front and rear of a 2023 Roxor (all weather HD). Typical added weight will be 200-400 lbs, mostly in the 200-250 range. Can you give me suggestions as to a reasonable set of shocks (front and rear) to smooth out the ride? Mostly run it across farm pasture. No high speeds and nothing too wild…..but with the current suspension setup my kidneys are looking for a new home!
thanks!

KYB KG5473 fits stock and apparently you can still use a 2” leveling kit with these stock length shocks.

That P/N will work for front and back. TheBilsteins were way more expensive than the KYBs.

I have seen good reports on these. Do you give up much performance compared to Bilsteins?

I don’t have the bilsteins but I honestly doubt they’re even 20% better… but they cost well over 20% more. So the math for me didn’t add up. Honestly, the kyb can be had on Amazon for like 150$ all in, buy them and if you don’t like it send back and go bilstein

Oh also, if anyones reading this thread in the future and wants to go even cheaper than my earlier Partnumber..

2x each, different part numbers this setup front and back as opposed to earlier single part number for both front and back.

KYB 343403 Excel-G Gas Shock

KYB 344015 Excel-G Gas Shock

These were good. But I swapped to the KG5473 and prefer the 5473.

I see you already ordered the KYBs but just throwing these out there too. I ordered these Monroe OESpectrums from On the Rox. Definitely a better ride all around. My dad ordered some too and he noticed a big difference in the ride quality as well. They are $92.25 for a pair.
