Stock radiator, wasn't talking about radiator temps but rather air intake temps.Stock or aftermarket radiator?
The roxor has a pressure/temp sensor that you can monitor with a digital reader using the CAN/ODB2 connector. I use a autometer dashlink 2 for my gauges, didn't want to install physical gauges but I'm probably going to break down and install a EGT sensor and gauge.Exhaust temperature is more pertinent. As long as your egt's are in check you're OK. An intercooler would not seem to hurt though. I'm all for overkill. My stock ecm with the stock passive turbo doesn't make much boost. I also have a pyrometer as well. Do you have some kind of sensor/thermo-coupler in the intake to measure the temp?
Yes I was running around Patagonia last spring on the highway at about 65 and Temps were 220 easily which is what pushed me to install the intercooler. These are low intake temps! About 15F - 20F above ambient.
About a week ago, it was 115F in Phoenix. I drove my Roxor at about 60 - 65 mph on a flat highway. The scanner tool read well over 200F (I think peak was at 240F, but don't quote me on it).
So after reading all the post, is it safe to say this technology measures your egt? Under the title "intake"I finally finished my intercooler install, total cost was around 350 dollars and time! Lots of time!! The reason is I had to get the correct boots and send stuff back and get new ones because mainly I measure about 4 times and forget what I measured and order stuff anyway!

No, it records intake temps. EGT's need to be measured separately using a probe. Someone did a great write up.So after reading all the post, is it safe to say this technology measures your egt? Under the title "intake"
