Factory differential covers

Does anyone have an opinion on the strength of the factory diff covers? Planning on installing a pair of lunchbox lockers and while the covers were off thought it would be a good time to upgrade if it made sense. With all the rocky trails here in AZ just a little concerned about doing damage to a cover and possibly the lockers if I bounce of a rock. All opinions are appreciated.

I think the factory ones are ok. Mine are a little dinged up from rocks . but nothing bad.

Mine are just fine, have about 4600 miles on my Roxor.

Look up Rock Hard RH-9023, they are a "Hardhat" type, 1/4 " thick and can take a good hard rock hit. voice of experience . you can get them in black or red.
