Egr delete kits back in stock for 2.5 engine

Hello everyone, I’ve been off of the site for a while but have continued to get emails asking if I still made egr delete kits. After a long time of not having any and getting tired of telling people I didn’t have them anymore, I decided to start making them again. I have a limited quantity that will be ready to ship by the end of next week. The kit will include everything needed to completely remove the egr system and will have detailed instructions with pictures. Includes 2 cnc machined block off plates, heavy duty coolant bypass caps with stainless steel hose clamps and vacuum caps for the hose that ran to the egr valve solenoid. This kit fits 2.5 engine ( I am working on a kit for the 2.7). Price is $195 including shipping to any of the lower 48. That is a crazy amount ($195.00) of money for those block off plates!

It may seem high to you, I am not arguing with that. The kit I have is put together with best quality parts I can find. The plates are made from high quality US steel that is cnc cut local machine shop, the coolant bypass caps are industrial grade, not the cheap thin ones that come from the local parts store ( I tested them in the beginning and they didn’t hold up) and comes with detailed instructions with pictures along with all other parts needed. I did this as a solution for a problem I had in the beginning and offered it after enough other people asked. I appreciate your input on the cost of my kit but I’m not making some huge markup off of them and know that it is a quality product. This kit may not be for you or plenty of others but it’s there as option for the ones who are looking for quality and simplicity over whatever the cheapest route is. Thank you, sir

The Coolant bypass caps that I used when I did my EGR delete over six years ago are 1/2 Brass Pex barb end caps

into heater hose that was already removed in the process of deleting the EGR, Which are available at any Home improvement store for $3.00 for two as well as the stainless steel hose clamps $2.00 so that is no big deal and all the instructions are on the web. You can have the block off plates made in any thickness and stainless steel at SendCutSend: Custom Sheet Metal Fabricationl for $24.00.
The one vacuum cap can be had at any parts store $1.00.
$30.00 vs $200.00 Decide for yourself.

I think you are missing the point here, I said the kit wasn’t for everyone but for those wanted a quality kit with everything needed. I posted the installation instructions on here when I made the first kit 8 years ago. I wasn’t trying to hide anything or keep anyone else from doing what I did. What I did do was offer help to those on here that asked for it when the Roxors very first came out. It was only because I have had a lot of emails from people still wanting the kits, that I decided to make them again. Cost of everything has doubled or tripled in the last 8 years along with higher shipping cost, yet I priced them at $195 including shipping versus the $120 I charged that long ago. I’m glad that you were able to get it all figured out for yourself, but like I said, I’m doing this for the members on here that have continued to ask over the last 8 years

That's great news! A public service I like that. But you must understand that Roxor owners have so much to do on their units and cost is a major concern. Just for the EGR delete costing $200.00 then likely they can not spend that money on other upgrades but if the can spend $30.00 on the EGR delete they can put the saving into other mods that are just as important. Just my opinion.
