EGR delete done!

Good news for this project. I emailed Gilomen and they confirmed the Stage 2 on my ECM would have included an EGR code delete, so I am good to go to get this done this weekend.
You going to yank the egr cooler? Or leave it?

I think it is normal...mine is bone stock and it's made that noise from day one. There's a thread about it on here somewhere.
I used to have that "clatter sound" but not anymore. I really think the mechanical radiator fan was the culprit for this type of sound

No codes.

Very nice!

If you put a high-flow air intake, delete the catalytic converter and spark arrest/muffler, it will sound like a completely different roxor. The Roxor gets a little louder but nothing overbearing.
Probably won't do a different intake. It's too dusty where I live. But the exhaust will get done eventually. You're right though, freeing up the intake and exhaust makes diesel engines happy, and they sound good as a result.

Despite mine being almost exclusively a pavement princess, I do like the factory high and tight air intake design, as it let's you go deeper in water as it better protects the air supply.

If one day you ever are looking for the highflow air intake you only need a 40 dollars s-10 air intake and a good filter like AFE for like 90 dollars. AFE is great for dusty conditions

Two of my favorite roxor sounds is hearing the turbine spool, and hearing a high air intake sucking in air like a industrial vacuum
