I need help with the install of The Cure.

After I remove the castle nut, how do I separate the joint? There is no room to pound it out (e.g. thread nut loosley and give it a couple taps with a hammer).

Thanks in advance for the advise on separating the joint.
Two hammers But sometimes one works. Leave castle nut on very loosely. Put one hammer on the side of the joint as a backup. Not always needed. Then take the other hammer and smack the side of the joint. The side not the threaded Portion where the castle nut screws on. Hitting the side of the joint sends a harmonic vibration inside it that loosens it. The joint will just fall out. The nuts will catch it sit doesn’t come out uncontrolled.

Ok, so just smack the silver (about quarter size) end of the ball jont?

No. Hit the sides. By sides I mean 90 degrees from castle nut.

hit it on the red line. Can also hit it from the bottom swinging up in the same spot.

Good morning,

I have this clunking noise every time I turn right or left and found that the rear mounts for the front leaf springs are creating the noise. As it snaps against the mount that is welded to the frame. not sure how to remedy this?
Mine also had the exact problem. Tightening the bolt worked for me.

So you installed "the cure" a couple of years ago now? Is it still working? Did the popping sound actually go away?

Went away then I swapped to the OTR steering and was good for awhile. then that setup also started making noise so I pulled the cure off the factory linkage and put it on my OTR steering and it cured that setup as well.
