This was a busy week for me. In addition to putting my new radiator in I’ve done
MileMarker locking hubs
Made a roof out of part of a truck hard toneau cover and a piece of aluma core (it is a sign board with 2 sheets of aluminum over a corugated plastic inner.
Made a set of doors out of the alumacore, they are 2 pieces with the corrugated pieces in opposite directions that I glued together with silicone caulk. Color is not a perfect match, and I still need to figure out the latches. I used some fence hinges that I welded a larger plate to in order to get the body holes to line up.
Installed the winch and winch plate
Installed led lights on the roof forward facing and some led spots that give rear lighting. these are switched with rockers put into the factory blanks (what a joke, the blanks are impossible to get out and the cut outs are smaller than the standard rocker switch (a little dremmel work and they fit)
installed a 6 switch panel with volt meter and dual usb ports. Nothing connected yet but that will change. Relocated the factory labels (shift pattern, specs, don’t be stupid plates) to allow the panel to be mounted in the center of the dash.
fic
xed the loose factory instrument cluster
added a scanguage2
installed my KMS engineering stage 3 ecu (probably overkill, but buying a complete ecu was only 200 more than a flash so I figure if I do need warranty work I can just switch to the factor, this is also part of my EMP prep tohave all the electronic bits in a faraday cage just in case (short of buying a military H1 I think the roxor will make a good SHTF vehicle)

next up is a rear locker which is on order and the egr delete kit
