For my fellow Utards on the forum with street-legal Rox's, who are you buying your insurance from that will cover you on and off road?

weirdly enough when I first gotten my insurance 3 years ago on my Roxor from progressive they had the Roxor oddly mislabeled on their database system. According to their system "Mahindra" is the sub model, and "Roxor" was the brand vehicle. I informed them it was the other way around lol

Thanks all. I'll call Progressive up. I set up insurance with them for my Rox online and thought it would cover both on and off road, but looking at the fine print, it looks like I am covered off-road only. So, I guess I need to talk to a human. I tried putting it on my Geico policy but they said they won't cover my Roxor, unfortunately. Somehow, my Honda Pioneer is OK, but the Roxor isn't. Morons...

PS: I may have to call USAA up as well. I forgot about them and I am a vet.

OK All Florida people,

I had my Roxor street legal in Michigan with a vehicle plate, not a motorcycle plate, hoping to bring it down to Florida and re-license it here.

The Florida DMV saw the picture of the Roxor and said, even if the title shows a Roxor as a motorcycle type vehicle, since it resembles a Jeep in size , 4 wheels, and shape as a Jeep, it is considered as a vehicle, not a motorcycle. So, I am like great, I can get a full plate in Florida.

Well, my insurance companies (Geico and Progressive), see the descriptive numbers on the title of the Roxor as a motorcycle so my insurers do not offer Personal Injury Protection for motorcycles. The State of Florida DMV says they will license it as a full size vehicle if I get PIP insurance on it.

Progressive did give me a brokers number that may be able to provide me PIP on a motorcycle registration. I have not called them as of yet.

I will try my Geico policy online and see how that goes. I called them and that is when they refused to offer PIP on the Roxor.

Otherwise, I will keep driving on my Michigan plate.

I can assure you that the mortocyle plate would hold up legally speaking. But yes, absolutely no PIP, at least with Progressive
