Glad everything worked out for you, good to see that they stood tall on this issue and did the right thing by you.
Can’t wait to get the ECU back. I got the intake and boost valve with it.On my 2019 I got the big tune (I always forget what stage that is), 115 hp, the Intake adapter and the vacuum line valve on the turbo and buddy hitting 65 is no issue. If it went any faster I would be required to have a racing stripe painted on it. I have the taller gears than later models and use mine all over our little town as a 2nd car. I bought it with 1900 miles on it a year ago May. I now have 7,000 miles on it. I love this little beast.
I don't really care about going fast on this machine, it was just my way of testing to see if the Tune was really there or not from the dealer. I doubt I ever go above 55, most of my riding will be trails and dirt roads; it's not a daily driver for me.I am not sure just how fast you will be able to go with 5.38 Gears, and a Stage 1/2 Tune.
Going Faster with a newer 5.38 Geared Machine, the issue is not as much power, as it is Engine RPM's.
With an older machine (2018-2020) with 3.73 Gears you can use the Impressive Power Increase of a Stage 1 or 2 Tune to go faster.
With 5.38's you will be limited by how many RPS's you can safely turn for how long without hurting the Engine.
Taller Tires, PLUS More Horse Power will let you go faster. The Taller the Tires, the more good a Horse Power Increase will provide.
A Gear Change is probably something to consider if you want more speed.
I checked a Speed Calculator.
5.38 Gears @ 2500 RPM's with 32" Tires = 57 MPH (Pretty much my findings)
3.73 Gears @ 2500 RPM's with 32" Tires = 82 MPH (Faster than I plan to drive a Roxor on any road)
OR
60 MPH with 5.38 Gears and 32" Tires = 2,644 RPM's
60 MPH with 3.73 Gears and 32" Tires = 1,833 RPM's
RESULTS USING LARGER TIRES with 5.38 Gears:
55 MPH with 5.38 Gears and 32" Tires = 2,423 RPS's
55 MPH with 5.38 Gears and 33" Tires = 2,350 RPM's
55 MPH with 5.38 Gears and 34" Tires = 2,281 RPM's
55 MPH with 5.38 Gears and 35" Tires = 2,216 RPM's
55 MPH with 5.38 Gears and 36" Tires = 2,154 RPM's
I am not trying to say a Tune on a newer machine is a bad idea, just that I would not expect to run down the Interstate at 70 MPH with a 5.38 geared machine.
When you get your ECM back, and installed, you will have a unique opportunity to let us all know just how much a Stage 1 or 2 Tune will help a later Model 5.38 Geared Machine. Real world improvement and not just speculation. I am looking forward to your Report.

I'm on 285/65r18's - essentially a little under 33" (32.6 x 11.2). I prefer the 5.38's also because I'm on trails and dirt roads mostly.I have a 2022, with stage 2. Stock tires, 70mph @ roughly 2500rpms. Rural WY don’t need to go much faster. Thinking about adding the intake kit. 3.73 gears would be great for high way driving, but man the 5.38s are awesome on trail!
I did the same order with DF and am very happy. I did need to really loosen up my intake pipe to reassemble with the 90 for new intake. The performance is night and day. I drive with a very light foot and accelerate gradually on all my diesels so I have not noticed whether my fuel usage has increased but I am sure it has.I don't really care about going fast on this machine, it was just my way of testing to see if the Tune was really there or not from the dealer. I doubt I ever go above 55, most of my riding will be trails and dirt roads; it's not a daily driver for me.
The ECM is scheduled to deliver today!
The intake did not ship with it, and it shipped today, so I guess I'll see a before/after intake version also.
Totally different machine. PLENTY of power. I have to shift much faster now.How did it perform with the Tune ?
I have not even been faster than 50 since the tune but I’ll see what it can do and let you know. What kind of top
End do you get with the tune and the gears ?
