Roxor Ownership

Ive done some searching on the forum and maybe I missed any specific threads, but I am wondering what those of you that trailer your Roxor use. I have a 6x10 single axle trailer that I used for my Ranger. Even though the Roxor will fit, I don't think its 3500 lb rating is really the best option. What I would really like is a small car hauler trailer that I can pull behind my wife's 4Runner or my truck. I have considered reinforcing my 6x10 or just building a trailer for it but Ive got a lot of unfinished projects that I still need to get to.
Any ideas or suggestions are much appreciated.

I have a 18 ft dual axle 10,000 lbs rated trailer. I know That’s way over kill if I just used for my Roxor. Gives me the latitude to move my tractor or my Roxor and my kids 4 wheelers.

I definitely wouldn’t use a single axle trailer for a Roxor. Someone on here uses a 14 foot tandem. I would recommend a 16 ft tandem to allow easy load balancing And a bit of free space for extras.

I suggest you double check how your Roxor will fit on your 10ft trailer.
I have a 6'9"x14' tandem trailer rated at 7000# which works for me. I agree with Togo though that you should stick with a tandem.
A basic Roxor weighing 3035#s would be maxing out a single axle trailer with a standard 3500# axle once you add a spare tire, winch etc.
You could build a trailer using a 5400# axle, but a tandem is more stable, easier to load and has margin of safety in case of a blowout.
A Roxor at 12'4" in length, 13' with a spare, will fit on a 14' trailer with little room to spare. You need some wiggle room if you're using chains with binders for tie-downs, and even straps need room to ratchet.

Thanks for the input. My brother has a 16 ft tandem. Maybe I need to borrow it to see how it works.

I use a 16' tandem axle trailer. I'm not sure I'd want anything less for long distance hauling. Whatever you go with, I would recommend tandem axles for sure.

Thanks, I assumed it would fit but haven't actually tried loading it on the 6x10. Whether I buy one or end up building one, I will definitely go with a tandem. When I bought it, I rented a U haul car hauler. I really liked the way it pulled.

Same here a have a 16' with a 2' dove tail for my muscle car. Double axle 10k I welded extra tie down points on.

I towed mine home on a single axle trailer with a 3500 lb axle. The bearings were HOT when I got home 3 hours later. It's right at the max capacity, and that's IF you have the tongue weight correct.

Thanks all. It looks like I need to pass by some trailer dealers and see what they have. I called a couple today and they neither had hardly anything in stock.
