Mrs Stevens thought those tie downs were excessive! I may haul an old Honda 300 fourtrax or my ZTR mower also, they definitely aren’t the weak point. I’m going to re-deck and fix up my old utility trailer next, and hope to haul my Roxor down to the Rock Candy campground in May. I’ll be sure to check your availability when we do!Looks like all that you need is Fish, and possibly a cooler.
The new deck boards look good. Are the Tie Downs just in case you catch one of the BIG Cat Fish on the Lake?

Mostly bass, we catch crappie, bluegill and catfish as well. We are south of the musky and walleye. I hope to post some pics soon. What are you catching down south? So Ted, bass only or musky, pickerel, walleye, etc?
That’s my ruger bearcat given to me by my father in law. Sometimes the snapping turtles try to get into the basket of fish. They just need to be patient, we fillet on the bank and throw the heads back in the lake.Nice haul Ted! That bass that you are holding up really looks like one of those Billy Bass that you hang on the wall, and they make some noise or statement, like Don't Mess with My bass!"
Is that a special fishing rod on your hip? Maybe a 6-line bait? Or is that to follow up on the fish that escape your line?
How Bob, I hope the floods haven’t washed you away! I booked a campsite at the Rock Candy campground for 5-26 thru 5-29. Planning a maiden voyage for my camper van and plan to tow my Roxor. I hope we’ll catch you with a little free time then!It is 5:30 AM and it is starting to look like I could fish in my back yard. The way it is raining I am surprised my Satellite Internet is not down.
Looks like you have caught a few nice fish.
The boat looks like a good fishing boat. Around here I mostly see a lot of the fishing Kayaks for use on Current, Jacks Fork, and the Big Piney Rivers.

That reminds me of a time when my father and I were fishing perch on a small private lake. We had a nice haul on a stringer. When it was time to leave I pulled up the stringer and all that was there were fish heads and tails. The turtles ate everything in between! That’s my ruger bearcat given to me by my father in law. We had a snapper rob our stringer one time and he (or she) selectively ate the crappie and left the bass and bluegill! That reminds me of a time when my father and I were fishing perch on a small private lake.
