Looking to buy
Does it damage the speedometer if you go past 60 , where the needle lays on the peg and cannot move anymore. ( Basically the needle wants to move but peg is stopping it , thereby causing some damage??)

If this pure mechanical, I can see this can cause some damage. Any ideas, so I am trying to drive it at 58-59mph to avoid this problem
