I street licensed my Roxor in Michigan and had my brother bring it down to Florida. Michigan treats it as an Assembled Vehicle and you get a full plate.
Michigan gave me a new VIN number and an Assembled Vehicle Title.
Interesting items:
1. Michigan asked for my finance paperwork to prove I purchased the Roxor I guess, but they wrote the Title as No Secured Party...
2. Michigan wanted me to prove that I purchased the vehicle in Michigan.
3. A Michigan Police Officer has to actually inspect the vehicle. I asked if I could have a Florida Trooper inspect the Roxor and they told me no. I looked into this and found that it is even written in their laws that way.
4. I did need to open a business office at my brother's address for this to all work out.
5. A Michigan DMV inspector had to look the vehicle over and apply the new VIN on the vehicle.
6. The Roxor was built in November 2022 and Michigan titled it as a 2023 Assembled Vehicle.
I have the Roxor here in Florida with a Michigan Plate but will transfer the plate to Florida next year.
A question for anyone with a cycle license on their Roxor, does the passenger need to wear a helmet?
