BDRAG do you have to put the shims on both the front and back or just the front? Thanks!
The long travel kit is a totally different animal but the shims should not be necessary with either just a shackle kit or the long travel kit. I would take it to an alignment shop and see what the numbers say…
Here is why this is a tricky one. Leaf springs don’t hold a static caster angle. As the springs compress the shackles swing out and change the caster. Your caster angle will change based on spring fatigue, load weight, differences in font and rear ride height etc. for 99% of people you won’t need shims to correct but some setups will. It is different roxor to roxor.
The only reason to run shims in the rear is to adjust pinion angle. And once again there are a lot of variables that make it different roxor to roxor.
