Seems most aftermarket coverings for vehicle seats have a few things in common. With the possible exception of some expensive custom ones, they all tend to be vastly overpriced, use marginal quality materials, soon start to disintegrate, slide around, fit lousy and are generally ugly. While Roxor may hardly be the ideal candidate for seat coverings, there will inevitably be sloppy conditions when it might be helpful to have something beyond a towel to safeguard the OEM seat. In that regard, the Aries Seat Defender (black universal bucket #3142-09) could be useful -- certain mud and manure situations come to mind. It basically covers the headrest and front of the seat only, is waterproof, washable, reasonably affordable ($29 each on Amazon) and can be put on and taken off in about 15 seconds. It is by no means a custom fit, but works fairly well and is a lot better than makeshift shop rags or empty feed bags. Reportedly it is not too easy to remove dog hair from the nylon fabric surface. No doubt there are other alternatives, though this appears to offer decent temporary seat protection for the money. Haven't had mine long enough to know all the surprises or how well it will stand up over time, but pleased so far.

i like 'em. the fabric seems quite tough. they keep dirty lab paws off the upholstery and, unlike standard seat covers, can be easily taken on or off -- used or not, as needed. they don't interfere with the seatbelt either, but need to be frequently retucked between the seat and its back which is nbd. i put a stall mat in the bed and a couple of generic walmart floor mats in front so things are well protected. btw, in case you haven't been in a heavy rainstorm or water over the gunwales situation yet, the side drain hole in the floorboard is fairly inadequate (and something easily remedied).
