Rebuilding the rear-end is a job I don't want to do again. The rt rear outer seal went out and water got in my dif. Well, you can guess what happened then. I didn't drive it for a month or so and the bearings in the differential completely rusted out along with the rt axle bearings. It was a mess and parts are sort of hard to locate.
But Torque King had the parts and I got it back together.. It ran smooth without any noise or grinding sounds so off I went to test it out. It performed flawlessly but all of a sudden while turning lt then turning rt the left axle came out. Destroying the bearings and everything from the dif out. Now as far as it goes the only thing that keeps the axle from coming out it the outer plate on the wheel assembly. I asked Torque King and they agreed. So before I reassemble it again I'm going to fabricate a heavier plate........ Any suggestions????????? I would really like to hear from someone that can pinpoint my obvious error in reassembling.

This happened to me years ago. My father had replaced the outer bearing with the race in first. Without the backing plate against the race with the bearing inside, it will fail. I hope this is not what happened to you. I was going around a corner and it went squirlly. I pulled over and saw the wheel didn't look right. I jacked it up and the wheel fell off. The axled had melted. The only thing the wheel was resting on was the brake pads.
