@us17094: I am the one who wrote the review of the ahocks you bought (as part of a comparison of 4 differnet shocks)

The (noticeably) longer shocks go in rhe front. You will see.

Less than an hour to install all 4 shocks and you are ready to notice the difference.
Excellent! I am looking forward to it. Adding the OEM hitch as well. I. Expecting the new shocks will lead to a more pleasant towing experience.

I followed the advice of member AZROX and bought the following:

KYB 343403 Front
KYB 344015 Rear

I think the front will be a bit longer than the rear.
Did you see a significant improvement in Ride?

Well I can get the Fronts but back is unavailable. Just seems like 640 through Diesel Freaks is too much for shocks.

I'm with you. I couldn't see spending that kind of money. The KYBs are a huge improvement over the pointless shocks that come on these. I've had my kYBs on for over a year with plenty of off highway use and I don't even worry about them. It's a leaf suspension rig so it's gonna ride hard that's why we bought them over a plastic noisy SxS

Could I confirm the part numbers and maybe get a lead to where I can find them. By the way I am totally stock with no lift or leveling.

Hurah Amazon has them but now I am confused. There are two different shocks listed with the same number one is 40.13 and the other is 57.17 One says for Isuzu truck and the other is blank. Any guidance?

Different stores on Amazon call out the same part number for different applications.
As long as it is the part number from my post, the shocks will fit.

AZROX I'm planning to add a 2' leveling kit for my rig. I'm assuming that these will still work even with the leveling kit but you know what happens when you assume...

Not planning on removing the sway bar. I did get a 1” shackle lift for the rear. Picked up a like new set of 285/75-16 BFG KO2’s for $500 last night. I also pulled the trigger on the KYB shocks last night. We mainly use ours as a weekend vehicle running around town.

I’ve got a set of Bora 1.5” spacers on order. They told me 3 to 4 week lead time as they build to order. I’m at about 2 weeks since I ordered them. I’m ready to tear into that thing and get everything added.

With the bigger tires did I you have any trouble with the front bumper? I plan to replace that as well but going to have to slow my roll. My wife is starting to notice all the little purchases. Man toys!

@AZROX Finally got it back from the stereo shop last Thursday. Got the leveling kit , new shocks, wheel spacers, trimmed the front bumper (going to order a different front bumper) and the tires & wheels installed this past weekend. Next step is to send the ECU in to get it flashed.

CJ2 Did you get the Rancho's?

KYB KG5473 are great too! Factory shocks are possibly the worse shocks I've ever seen installed on any SxS or vehicle.
Yes I agree its like they forgot to put fluid in them lol.
