This is probably a subject that has been talked about way too much so I apologize in advance, I have 2024 roxor 2.7l motor/5.38 gear ratio in axles. Is it possible to switch out the ring and pinion gears to a lower ratio? Maybe 4.10/3.73? Is there a kit you can purchase to do so without having to pull everything apart on the axles? Goal is 55mph at around 2000-2200 RPM engine range. Stock drivetrain 2 years in, this machine has done everything I have asked from it, from plowing snow to getting to fields with parts and tools. So very happy with it, just wish a little lower engine RPM and highway speed.

Only complaint is that I have had to replace fuel filters (2000 miles) a few times.

Wish list is if someone breaks the OBDII port and my tablet would be able to display full engine/diagnostic functions...

Thanks for your time!

Just get the Diesel Freak tune. It does 60 easy even with the 5.38. And lot better in every way.

Also, How did you know you had to replace the fuel filter ?

Ckreklau, I did not want to invest in the cost of parts and labor for a ring and pinion. I purchased 35 in tires, a 2 1/2-inch lift, and 2-inch wheel spacers. At 55 mph I run @ 2400 RPM which seems to be the sweet spot. I do have the Diesel Freak Stage II Tune.

My tires are 235/85-16. I will try and get some RPM data with the 2.7 Tune at 55.
