I've had mine for a couple years with no issues, held up extremely well. I'm in southern AZ and the Roxor sits outside when not being driven. I have over 6000 miles on it.

Ranch armor in Marion Texas makes roofs that are compatible with the fortress windshield. Never had a fortress roof but this Ranch armor one is definitely tough

BDRAG,

I had the same issue with the windshield closing at about 40 mph. Wade at Diesel Freak sells a pair of gas shocks that extend a bit more and keep it open at high speeds. I have been up to about 50 with no issue. The extra opening makes a really big difference in airflow. No regrets on that purchase!
50 MPH with window open?????

My windshield will close at closer to 30 MPH. I will need to check with Wade about the HD Gas Shock.
The Hinge is holding up fine.
So far no Latch Failure. I am sure the latch will need replaced sooner or later however.

As was mentioned above, we do need a source for stand alone "hard" doors. A large percentage of Roxor owners have added a Roof and Windshield. I have also added the Hard Cab Two Piece Rear Bulkhead that Wade sells. All I need to close the cab in is doors. I do not need to order an entire Cab just to finish closing it in.

Yep. Mine does the same thing. 30mph, large bump etc. Basically worthless. (The tilt out part) Would've just bought the permanently closed model if I had known.

Vinny I totally agree. I got mine used at a good buy, but if buying new with what I know now, it would have been the non-opening version.

The picture here Roxor is my Roxor. Not sure exactly when this picture was taken either early 2017 or 2018. I know some folks that work for the Perry Company that makes the Fortress Windshields. Mine has been bullet proof and I was worried about the latches as well. So for my latches are original and completely intact. I also tried to encourage the Perry Company to make Doors and possibly a full enclosure. So far they have not responded. I will copy this response and send it to them.

Daddyflea I wish you luck on getting Fortress to make doors for the Roxor.
We have lots of sources for Windshields, and Roofs. We really need stand alone doors to close in what we have already purchased.

I did send them an Email and followed up with a phone call. I would also like full doors and the enclosed rear. (Cab) Hopefully they will decide to start making them.

I’ve had my Fortress top, doors and windshield for more than 6 years now. They have held up great! Full doors would be nice though. Currently I use the offroad ARMOUR soft upper doors in winter, but can’t use on highway.
