I agree 3rd gear or 4th gear as soon as u hit 40 it starts so it’s definitely under different loads and rpm only thing the same is 40 mph I don’t know why the ecu would use speed sensor for tuning it would be nice if one of the programmers could look into this

It’s a normal diesel sound on these engines. I can point point exactly when the tone Is about to change after driving mine 5200 miles. I wouldn’t be losing any sleep over it or try the change it. I’ll be worried when it quits making it. Lol

sensor unplugged top speed 25, guess I have a late 2018...vin 2788
