Do you think we'll see bigger turbos hit the market from any vendors? I wonder if we could make over 300HP and 400+ ft/lbs without sacrificing too much driveability?

You will have todo alot more than just a bigger turbo. The factory head studs will not hold up to that amount of power or any other engine components. At that point i would swap the engine out with a 5.9 cummins if it could some how fit in that little rig.

You’d have to likely alter the cam profile significantly to hit your numbers and lose low end tq. This is assuming your engine and transmission hold together.

Also as stated, you’re doing quite a bit to your fueling to hit this.

I knew this would not take long, by the time you would get finished with a project like this just go buy a new jeep with almost 300HP.

Or swap a gasser v8 and sell me your stock engine lol

Just, why? Better have a warehouse of parts and a Cornwell service truck following you around like buzzards.

This kind of power from 2.5L of displacement mentioned anywhere near the word drivability is lunacy. You'd turn the Roxor into a bottlerocket; a very loud, fast, but brief ride ending in either a firey death or the instantaneous destruction of every mechanical moving part.

I can't wait, it's only a matter of time before people really start boosting these machines.

Well, that's what I'm thinking. I'm coming over from a VW/Audi TDi forum where they're working, in the majority of the cases, with a 1.9L TDi and getting much more HP + torque than Roxor enthusiasts are quoting...and the Roxor folks have an extra 600ccs to play with! Geez, it's like they're not even trying ;)

The usual formula involves one or more of the following...upgrade the turbocharger, increase the fuelling with a larger capacity pump, and increase the fuel injector nozzle size. And, of course, an ECU remap

The crazy power will get there.

I have a "Stage 1" tune and after fixing my hold down, I'm QUITE pleased with the power. Then again, I thought an FHead was mostly ok lol.
