Likely low in Freon. Verify if compressor clutch is engaged and compressor is turning. If compressor is turning but air is not cold, shoot a can of R-134 in it, as it is just low. If compressor clutch is not engaged, likely Freon is so low that low pressure cut off switch is open. Shooting a can of R-134 in it wil raise pressure enough to close switch and engage clutch. If still no joy, put gauge set on to verify if pressure is low before shooting second can of Freon in it. If pressure is good, and compressor can be turned by hand, check for power and ground at compressor clutch. If no power at clutch check for power at low and high pressure switches. If no power at switches, check a/c relays and a/c fuses. You can pull fuse box cover off for fuse and relay id.

There is nothing in fuse box under passenger side dash or fuse box under hood that has a/c or hvac or anything like that labeled! But I will check freon and electrical current to everything and hopefully be an easy fix

I called 3 different dealerships today and none of them could tell me where the fuse/ relay for it is..
I was a bit afraid of this when I bought it.

Roxor is a year old. I need to replace AC Compressor and dryer.
Does this system have an expansion valve or orifice tube.
I found the compressor and dyer on Amazon.

Idk, but if it has an orfic tube it should be in the line in the dryer. If it has an expansion valve, you will see it as a block type of fitting near the firewall. I will look at mine in the morning.

I believe I can see the expansion valve just inside the firewall, in the ac unit. Follow the outboard line in the cab. That very next connection looks to be the expansion valve. Does not look hard to replace.

I apologize for not looking right away. It has been a busy few weeks cleaning up around here.

Mahendran could not give me a part number for it.
I was told it did not have one.

Do not know if the later models are different. I don't think so.

He should have the exact drivetrain as the pre-ban model, only difference was the grill configuration. 2023 and beyond is where they deviated from the original drivetrain.

Even then I would think from logistical Standpoint they probably used the original AC system setup from the pre-ban model

The three free manuals I have up for the community should hopefully help Out

Using the "ctrl + F" on the computer can help find keywords to help narrow the time

I figured it would be the same. But once in the engine bay, brackets and hoses could be different with the 2.7.

That is a good point.

But in terms of the AC parts and diagram, you don't think they could be the same? With the exception of the hoses and brackets

Sure, if they keep the same supplier. Things change and we have to be aware of that. Without any information on the 23+ models, everything is a guess.

Vintage Air was the exclusive A/C provider for the Mahindra Roxor. However their agreement with Mahindra would not let them sell the same kits to the consumer that they provided for Mahindra, to force the consumer to buy only from Mahindra. I believe they are still the OEM provider, and the basic components are likely the same on all Roxor year models accept any bracket and hose changes required for the different engines. Vintage Air would not even tell you which Vintage Air part numbers were used for the Roxor A/C kits, but the basic parts like compressor, and orifice valves they would sell you if you knew the Vintage part number you wanted to buy because those were common parts. Whether Vintage created custom evaporators or condensers for the Roxor, I do not know. Mahindra OEM New Old stock A/C retrofit kits are long gone, but some folks have had success locating new old stock Mahindra A/C piece parts from old Roxor dealerships. Once you determine the Mahindra part number that you are looking for, you might find a new old stock part from Sherwood Tractor or other old dealer. If you can find the Vintage Air part number, Vintage Air will sell it to you if it is a common part. Another option, and likely your best option is to reach out to a couple of the Indian dealers we have on the forum. They have been helpful in getting OEM and aftermarket parts directly from India for us. GI Store is one that comes to mind.

have you consider reaching out to Diesel Freak to see if they can assist? They can get their hands on the vintage AC kits and possibly even parts.

There seems to be a few more issues with those all weather units. AC, Heat, Leaking. Its sad they didn't get that stuff right!
