I have a 2020 with an enclosed cab. It has a glass DOT windshield and has 3 holes pre-drilled at the top center. I put on one of those hand operated wipers. It totally sucks. I don't want to spend hundreds for a wiper system. Will a universal UTV wiper motor with a built in switch work....or are they too much weight on the glass? I saw another thread where someone mounted one with a 10" arm. I would rather have a 15" or 16". Any advice or experience with one? I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Is that a windshield provided by Hard Cab, or is that some other brand of cab?

This is the brand. I'm guessing mount it where the handle is. Im just wondering about the weight on the windshield but researching it, it seems like it's good.

DFK makes Hardcabs. I’m not sure of the legal wrangling but for our purposes the names are interchangeable. I have the same windshield with a wiper kit installed. It’s a little more complicated than what you want to do. I’m attaching the installation instructions so you can see where it looks like they’re actually anchoring weight to the windshield. I’ll also throw in some close ups of my install. I think two of the holes are supporting weight with my unit but I think mine would be heavier than what you’re looking at. The third hole is for the windshield fluid. I know it’s not much help but hopefully it will give you ideas. Incidentally, I’ve beat the living *hit out of my machine and the motor weight hasn’t broken my windshield yet.
