Question. Did u bend more or cut down the angled bars before you welded them to the center loop? I'm gonna try to straighten the horizontal pieces and reuse them to the windshield. Just curious on what you did on the angled section

Both, I made the angle at the back of the kickers more acute and then saddle cut them to weld to the center hoop.

If you are asking if I cut the back part between the bend and the plate, the answer is no. I bent them more at he OEM bend point and cut them in the front where they could weld to the center hoop. If you cut material out of the back vertical piece, it will be very hard or impossible to get to the bolts.

So with the seat height and the new location of the horizontal bars any issue with hitting it ur your head. I'm 6'3. I gonna do as you did really like the look.

Im 6'1" and don't have any issues. It is close though. You can mock the tubes up to your windshield to check before you start cutting.
