I like my 2022 look, it stands out!

Going back to Tokarevs reply, I may work on a M151 style with my metal supplier.

While in the Marine Corps I drove the M38s and the M151s.

A new Slotted Grill, and Willys in White on the Hood would help my 2024 OD Green Roxor look a little better.

I am unhappy enough with Jeep over the Law Suit that I very well may never buy another one. I have bought Five NEW Jeeps over the years. That could apply to RAM Trucks as well. My last FOUR Trucks have all been RAM. My 2017 is in the shop as we speak having smog crap fixed. Every few months back in the shop for some check engine light that is on. I am not impressed. The Heater Core also plugs up on the 2017 RAM as well as my 2013 Wrangler. Casting Sand PLUS Small Passages in the heater core that plug up easily. Something that never was a problem on the older RAM and JEEP vehicles.

The problem is Mahindra originally tried to satisfy the court by just changing the grill in the 2020 model. While it was ugly, it kept the tapering hood and close set headlights, but was still not ugly enough. Mahindra was forced to widen the headlight spacing and the hood which is why it looks so bad now. You could easily make a new grill and reduce the headlight spacing, but unless you also replaced the hood, it will still look wrong with those unused spaces outboard of the reduced headlight spacing. Maybe you could add another set of lights in that unused space, but it will still just look wrong. Face it, we all like the original look of old, but that is now trade dress. At least we got the flat fender back, and buying a new Roxor with a diesel engine and Data 44 copies is far easier than restoring an old CJ-2A and putting in a diesel Kubota reefer engine.
Thanks for that. I've always wondered what the issue was with the FJ-style 2020's. I figured maybe Toyota had a beef with that one. Still wasn't good enough for Jeep, huh? Too bad, because other than the 18-19's, I really kind of liked the 2020 "FJ" style grill.
