What is the largest tire wheel combo I can put on my 2018 LE without having to modify or lift the suspension?

Not sure of how tall but i bought 15×8 5×5.5 with 3.75" backspace they stand out about 1" past body

Well 15" tires are alot cheaper and i have $600 in 5 new tires and wheels they are 235. Look on ebay at forceum mud tires 4 new will cost $330. Plus you can sell your old ones and walk away even or with a couple bens in your pocket

For you guys planning on different rims, i have measured the stock rims, they have a offset of "0", So adding 1 1/2 inch wheel spacers is like a rim with -38mm offset. The point is negative offset moves the tire outward, offset is measured in mm. Bach spacing is ok to use but different rims can have different offset but the same back spacing. So if you find a rim you like and it list the offset, its the best way to understand how much different the tire will sit in/out.

Great information, thanks

I'm getting old school steel wheels when I get a chance. Prefer to stay with 16 in. but may get the 15.

For the standard tire set would you go with goodyear steel or BFG Aluminum?

Here is the wheel / tire combination I am considering.

15" wheel with 2.5" of backspacing

33x9.50r15 tires (maybe not this particular tire, but something like this)

I have always enjoyed the "pizza cutter" look and I think this will clear easily with a small lift.

Still debating the Climax long travel, shackle reversal and lift shackles too.

Thoughts?

This tire looks even better and it's 10 ply.

I’m running those wheels. First with 33s12.50s and now with 35x12.50s.

I have a body lift. With 33s and a level lift and shackle lift and 3” rear lift springs I still had to run bumpstops otherwise it would rub. I’m now on the long travel lift with 2.5” RE springs and 35s. I still have bumpstops. Go to the YouTube link in my sig and you can see the old setup in the 22 EJS playlist vids. The other 2 playlists I’m on the long travel setup. There’s also a walk around video of my current setup on there. I have a thread here where I’ve posted mods that might show some of the old setup as well. I’ve trimmed the rear tub and shortened my bumpstops a bit since the wheeling vids. Will end up with an OTR rear fender kit in time.
