Did a quick video yesterday showing the tauler jack for those that were interested in one. The weight surprised me compared to a hi lift. Overall I like it. Haven’t used it in an off-road setting yet but I’ve no doubt it’ll work out better than the hi lift. And it’s a more compact package for storage.

Hey TxRoadKill, how has the swivel ability of the trailer helped you? Do you like it?

Haven’t really taken it off-road anywhere. I do find the hitch gets stuck sideways from driving on the road at times. I think the swivel part was dry from lack of grease for awhile before I bought it. I greased it up and worked it side to side. It freed up fairly easy but was tight till I greased it and worked it. Probably needs to get used to not stick sideways so much. Doesn’t affect the towing any. Nothing but flat land down here. Maybe for grins I’ll run it in and out if my pond at angles to see how it does. Overall I don’t believe this hitch is an extreme off-road style hitch. Think AWD Subaru type trails. It’ll excel on them. Get it on the rubicon and I believe you’d be taking it out on a trail it might not be up to handling.
