New Roxor owner here. I bought my friend's 2019 which is stock with no mods to the exhaust. My goal it to replace the muffler and or the entire exhaust system if necessary to have the quietest rig possible. This will be a deer camp trolley so it needs to be quieter than it is currently.

From reading muffler threads, it seems that the Roxor has a 2.5" exhaust system? Quietest Flowmaster is a 70 which is a 3" pipe and almost as big as the entire Roxor. Any thoughts and suggestions for conversion to a muffler and or exhaust system that is quiet and keeps diesel smell to a minimum?

The engine noise is louder than the stock exhaust. I would suggest sound proofing the fenders if at all possible with everything being mounted to the inner fender wells. I moose hunted with mine last month. I left it idling while I walked up from the ravine I was parked in and I didn't hear it at all. The group of cow moose I walked upon didn't scatter at all. They did once the SXS's came ripping by.

I just took the soot filter off and replaced it with glass pack the same length and diameter tube end sizes to fit.
revs freer now, just as quiet or quieter.

What glass pack was that? Do you have the dimensions? Part number?
been thinking about this

a stock Roxor doesn’t scare wildlife like a stock Polaris ranger 800 did. For what ever reason the sound isn’t as disturbing to the wildlife. and come to think of it I prefer the stock ranger sound over the sxs high rev Sound. Also it’s easier to idle in a high gear vs having to have elevated rpms to move. There’s no sticking it in 2nd and cruising at idle or just over idle In a traditional sxs.

Thanks for the info. Looks like season 1 will be look and see what happens with spooking game. Sound proofing engine might help. I realize I'm one of the few that wants a silent toy. My 2500 tow vehicle also sounds quiet though....

Maybe Summit Racing has a diesel quiet muller that doesn't restrict performance. Diesel Freak kits all seem to be geared toward manliness and not silent running.

I did a 2.5" Straight exhaust with a Borla ProXS muffler. Nice tone, but quiet. You can still hear the whistle very slightly, but its muted pretty good also.

My 2024 is pretty quiet. I am sure that the Engine makes more noise than the Exhaust. I had the wife drive by me about 50 feet off to the side, and I did not hear her go by.

I have a stock muffler on a 2019. I use it as my primary farm work vehicle. It does not seem to bother the deer at all. After I leave an area the trail camera picks up deer coming to inspect what I’ve been up to.
I have a feeling the deer think it is a tractor and are comfortable with it.
I dont see the same response when the grand kids ride the gas quads.
