How did you get a 2.7 tune? I thought we were all still waiting.
lol its for my 2020 roxor. not the new roxors. and it seems i misrepresent DF special tune. i have a 2.6 tune from DF. it gives a little more power

I have a 2022 with the DF Stage II and the back flow valve with 35 inch tires. I run 2400 RPM at 55 MPH and have plenty of torque and power to pass other vehicles when needed. I also have the selector switch and keep it on the high mode. I flip the selector switch to low mode when my granddaughter drives around the yard.

The backflow valve really smoothed out my engine at the higher speeds. I thought my engine felt choppy at 50 to 55 MPH until I put that back flow valve in.

I do think you will want to go to the larger exhaust if you put the RX41 turbo in. But, mine runs fine with DF Stage II and no other engine mods.

Again as I mentioned... there is a sweet spot for tunes.. and I would say that would be 75 to 120 hp range but no more than that.

1) under rated - I agree not good this is how roxor comes in stock.
2) optimally tuned may be 75 -120 HP with egr delete.
3) running the redlines 120 HP+ achievable but your engine will always be at a stress and working on the threshholds and this was my point with respect to exhausts becoming flamethrowers and may be not worth the money for mods and longevity.
I know this is old........With the cylinders having engine sleeves, wouldn't it make the block stronger for higher explosions?

Your EGR is a Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve. Supposedly it recirculates some of your exhaust back to the intake manifold to go through the burn cycle again. Thus burning any unburnt gases that may be in your exhaust. If I remember correctly, these started to be implemented around 1973.

In essence, it actually reduces your HP because it dilutes your fuel/air mixture in the manifold. I have never looked into specs as to how effective they are or any negatives of having them.

This seems like something that would be good to delete if possible.

Gabe, the problem with just deleting them is that they are tied into the ECU programming.

I believe that back int he 70's and 80's I had to replace 3 to 5 EGR Valves. They get clogged with the exhaust junk and send defect codes back to your engine control unit (ECU).
