Here is my snow plow install. Used 6"x8"x1/2" angle iron to mount the front reciver. Used a 5000lb. Bumper receiver from Harbor Freight.
I may install gussets from the top of the frame rails wrapped to the top of the receiver if I see any flex.
Oh and as you can see. You don't need the Fortress top to install their windshield. You just need to be creative. In My case I used the rearview mirror brackets.
