CJ7 Windshield Glass install

Hey guys I cannot find any video on youtube for the glass install that isnt for a TJ jeep.
I cant figure out If:
The glass goes into the deeper channel and the multiple shallower grooves wedge into the inner metallic edge.
or if:
The deeper channel is for inner metallic edge on the windshiled and the glass goes wedged into the shallower grooves.

Problem 2:
After I figure out whats is inner and what is outer, then the issue is what is anterior and whats posterior.

Thank you for any advice.

PS:
Primer and glue is needed, right?
The windshield also came with thinner tubing.

Those are excellent questions that I can't answer. Unless you're experienced installing auto glass, I'd recommend paying $80 and having a local glass company install it. Mine was $160 for installation plus glass plus gasket, so I bet the installation is half of that. The potential risks of incorrect installation are significant and include bending or scratching the windshield frame, breaking or scratching the glass, or having a poor seal which rattles loose. CJ7 and YJ gaskets and frames are very similar but slightly different, and it sounds like you might have gotten both. These aftermarket CJ7 windshields are manufactured exceptionally poorly, and many professional installers have difficulty, so if you have the extra bucks to spare or if you're inexperienced I'd pay someone to install the glass.

Personally I didn’t risk installing my own glass cause so many online said they had cracked theirs and then had to buy another glass and pay someone.
Local glass shop only charged me $20.
I asked about the smaller tube and he said it wasn’t necessary.

Glad I listened to others on this site, thanks! Had my windshield professionally installed yesterday, This was the outcome. They will be back this morning to try again....

you are lucky both places that quoted me the install did not take responsibility if they broke the glass installing it.

To get wiper linkage, wiper motor, wipers etc buttoned up once glass was complete!! ?
