Bought a nice trailer hitch on Black Friday for the Mahindra so that I can pull our barbecue pit around.
Very nice set up

I have not taken the roof out on any roadways since it’s mainly an off-road vehicle aside from the occasional cruise around the neighborhood, but I assure you there is no flex in that roof. That is a Ranch Armor roof and they are heavy and very tough. It has a frame structure on the inside to help make it rigid.Have you taken that roof on the roadways yet? Does it flop or flex?
I was just in Georgetown for Christmas and went over to Llano for BBQ at Coopers. Wish I'd known about your set up. We could've fired that thing up!! 😉😁😁🤠Bought a nice trailer hitch on Black Friday for the Mahindra so that I can pull our barbecue pit around.

Really I'm more curious about the securement method/strategy. I once called the company directly to inquire about the securement method, and they said it's only 4 clamps that wraps around the ROPS. Can you please help me get clarification and closure to my question? The rep at the time didn't sound to confident in himself, when he was giving me the answerI have not taken the roof out on any roadways since it’s mainly an off-road vehicle aside from the occasional cruise around the neighborhood, but I assure you there is no flex in that roof. You are correct. It is just four clamps, though it has not caused any issues for the probably year and a half plus that I have had it. The roof is compatible with the fortress flip out windshield which is what the extra bolts are upfront. That is partially why I chose this roof, because I wanted the flip out windshield, but I did not like the fortress roof and this was the only other option that I could find. The windshield does kind of add extra mounting support, but I’ve never had any issues with rattling or the roof coming loose.Really I'm more curious about the securement method/strategy. could I see the clamps and the locations of the clamps, please?
That is what the two pictures are of in the post when I stated that you were correct. One is a close-up of the clamp wrapped around the roll bar and in the other, you can see the two shiny nuts of the clamps on the driver side rollbar. And you can kind of see the passenger side at the very front of the photo.I'd really love to hear whenever you get the opp
