We got about a foot of fresh snow this weekend. Total so far about 3' so far this winter. Roxor is buried in it unfortunately.

Pretty tough hunting this year, got lucky with this guy

Seems the cold has been moving in later than typical. The hunt is over before they are fully in the rut. I called my spike fork for hours, I knew he was in there. There were 9 cows calling. He finally stood up, and I took the shot from standing. Never done that before. I missed by a mile. What I thought was a 250 ish yard shot was over 400 yards. I drove my Roxor in to check for a blood trail, and the brush was well above my roof. It looked like it was maybe waist high.

The rut has been weird for sure, kinda wish they would push the hunt to later in the year

8" of the stuff and 5 sheer pins later, my road is all good. We still got plenty yet. You guys are usually 2w ahead of us here in teh fall and we're 2w ahead in spring. 'Stay ready' lol

I see snow in the forecast for next week. Old man winter isn’t ready to give up just yet

Speaking of, I'd love to fab up a rig to mount my 6' blower on the Rox. It's mid PTO driven. I'd be able to keep the loader on the tractor all winter.
