I did several searches, but didn't see any threads related to this question. Even after backing the threads off as far as they would go, I still can't get the new belt on the power steering pump pulley. Has anyone ran into this, and if so, what did you do?

I have not done this yet,

But there is an adjuster rod below and slightly behind the power steering pump pulley. Check out item 3. You will probably need to loosen # 5 also.

I adjusted that rod out as far as it would go and was still having trouble. I ended up just using a screwdriver and stretching the belt over the pulley which I was trying to avoid because I was worried about damage to the belt. It was a pain, but I got it done.

rward, did you use the Mahindra Roxor belt or an aftermarket? I work with gated communities and one of our suppliers uses a 4l290 belt, but, if you measure it on a belt scales it is not what it says it is.

Plus, on my applications I stretch the belts on just to keep the belt tension consistent with the old belt. No real issue doing that.
