Hello from Centeral MN! A father , small business owner and outdoor enthusiast. I just purchased a Roxor and am stoked and Nervous. owned Dirt Bikes, Quads and a Canam SXS and finally Getting a Diesel and that's what makes me nervous.

Biggest reason for purchase was I am fed up with all the electronic low quality garbage on the market and speaking to friends and mechanics they had nothing but great things to say about the Roxor weather from seeing from oversees & around farms.

Any suggestions or important Maintenance items please Chime in!

Welcome and congrats! The Roxor is one of the easiest vehicles I've ever owned in terms of maintenance. It is a very simple machine. Diesels are easy. Keep the fuel filter changed every few thousand miles and put some anti-gel like Power Service (white bottle) in the tank during the winter and you'll probably have zero issues. Being in Minnesota, you might want to put an oil pan heater on, unless it is garaged. Make sure you check all your fluids and grease the grease fittings. Most of us have found them low.

When you change the oil eventually, put 7 quarts in, not 7.4 as the manual recommends. 7.4 will put you over the full mark on the dipstick. Check out vendors like Diesel Freak, On the Rox, Torque King, Grit Shift, Roxor Parts Direct, etc. for your maintenance consumables like oil, fuel and air filters. All of the above will also drain your wallet with aftermarket goodies for your new rig.

If you still have the EGR system on it, I'd do some searching on here as to what you can do to lose it. There is a ton of information on here, and a lot of knowledgeable guys that are happy to help. The search function will bring up a ton of information as well.

Thank you that's a Ton of good info. It will be kept inside a garage all year long that's heated to 45-50 degrees and I have an extra fuel, and oil and air filter on the way from Roxor Direct and some Schaeffer 5-40 Full Synthetic . Also just picked up some HotShot Diesel additive.

I'll have to look into the EGR! Thank you!

Heya! Central MN here too! St. Cloud Area. Maybe I'll see ya around! I've got almost 5,000 miles on mine and haven't had it a full year yet. I drive it pretty much everywhere, as long as you stay North of HYW 10 around these parts, the law doesn't hassle them on the road. As me how I know.....lol! I'm in the same boat as you, had all the toys through the years, decided on this instead of a Ranger HD when they told me $45K. They officially lost me as a customer. Enjoy the Roxor!

Check all your fluids now. Replace with amsoil (not gonna get into it with anyone on any forum about oil brands it's just an opinion) when the time comes.

There's specific lube requirements for the brass synchronizers and specific coolant requirements. I flushed my coolant with distilled water about 8 gallons through and refilled with quality coolant after all the engine bay mods I made.

Check your wheel bearings. I think it's a 50mm socket? Something absurdly large anyway. Repack the bearings ASAP.

Check your diffs, those have fluids too. Diffs have break in oil in them and it needs changed after break in.

I run amsoil in all my cars and a local mechanic I know recommended Schaeffer's for diesel based on engines he has seen and worked on. so I'm going to give that a go on the Motor oil & Diffs.

And yes I plan to grease all the zerks and pack those bearings as mentioned.

I plan to keep it stock engine wise aside for a EGR delete down the road.

Thanks for the info

Hello Lost,

I have a 2022, The only issue I have is that I am losing gear box oil. I think they forgot to put the sealer on between the transfer case and the transmission. Anyway, it is a slow leak. It could be coming from one of the plugs. I have cleaning foam to spray on the area and then I can tell where the leak is actually coming from.

Anyway, Welcome To the Tribe!`

USMC,
I wouldn't doubt that is where its coming from. When I took mine out when I did the twin stick mod, it wasn't leaking, but all they do is smear some shellac compound in there. And it wasn't very uniform, so I can see where a leak might occur. Good luck sourcing the leak!
