Looking to buy
Hello all. Joined here because the roxor is an amazing little rig. Seems to fit right between several other items available on the market and can fulfill some of our needs on our WV ranch/tract.

My big question is: Can you tune the newer Roxors (after 2022)? I have a line on a 2023 base model for $16k but am hesistant to pull the trigger without being able to tune the rig, increase HP, top speed, etc. We will be using this thing for runs into town, etc and tuning will maximize our ability to utilize the Roxor.

FWIW, the dealer that has the unit said that "they" (the aftermarket) are working on getting tuning together on the new models but he didn't know specifics ;)

Thanks and good to meet you.🍻

"They" have been working on it for a couple years already. However, this level of encryption is higher than OEM's have used before. Old units could be "Brute Forced" to gain acess and tune. That method does not work on the newer units. A whole new process has to be used. One they haven't figured out yet. Someday they will, but if it's anything like the encryption the 2022 and newer Cummins has, they've been trying to crack that for 3 years now and nothing close is available. The only advantage there is, if you're willing to pay for a new 2021/older ECU, you can make tuning work like the older units. But since the 2023 and newer Roxors went to the 2.7L, I don't think that is even an option to try.

no tunes yet on the 2.7 as noted above. If you just have one with a tune then you’re limited to the 2.5 Roxors. Plenty on the market but many are priced the same as new ones. I’ve noticed any Roxor priced 14 and under doesn’t stay on the market long. The guys pricing 18 and above still have them.
