Mississippi Street Legal

I am looking at both the Louisiana and Mississippi to make the Roxor street legal. My initial talk with someone in Louisiana was not very optimistic. Has anyone looked into street legal for Mississippi? They are saying I need to go to the county. We have property there so it is doable.
