Looking to buy
I’m waiting on delivery (hopefully early next week) of a 2024 HD base. It’s got the 5.38 gears. Those gears will come in quite handy in the mountain trails, but I know they will limit top speed. I don’t care to go crazy, more so I am curious what is the limit of the engine as it pertains to rpms. Does it have a limiter? How many rpms is too many to run for a length of time?

There is a Limiter on the unit. It was set at 55 MPH for the earlier units which puts you at almost 2700 RPM with the stock 29 inch tires at the 55 MPH in 5th gear. 5th gear is set at a .79 ratio.

I have a 2022 and had the limiter taken out of the ECU programming. I believe the 2023 and up ECU has not been code cracked yet to make changes to the settings.

Per the Roxor Manual the gearing is First 4.00:1, Second 2.09:1, Third 1.38:1, Fourth 1.00:1, and Fifth .79:1, with reverse at 3.52:1

This is what is in the manual for the 2.5, I would guess similar for your 2.7.

Where can I get a service manual for 2019 Roxor? I have the user manual.
