Headlight and horn switch relocation

Wanted to install a USB charger in the dash so I could keep using cig lighter plug for GPS. I wanted it in the center of the dash and not by the driver side door opening. So I relocated the headlight and horn to the other side. There was enough length to do so on the wiring but only to the closest blanks. That allowed to put the USB closer to the center. I also added an old aircraft breaker to turn it off because I did not want it run off ACC so that I could charge my phone even with it not running or switched to ACC and the breaker allows me to turn it off. Any switch will do though. The headlight switch makes more sense where it is now. Horn is ok where it is now but it would be better if they had made a steering wheel horn.

I am following your lead with the USB charging port but cant figure out how to get the plates on the left (or the headlight and horn) out. is there a trick or a tool of some kind to get the switches to release?

Not gonna lie. They weren't easy. I used a scraper to pry the out basically. I used the scraper for leverage under the lip of the switch housing and squeezed the clips in back with my fingers. The actual switches were easier than the blanks. It took time and patience.

I found that I had to file down the sides of the USB housing before it would fit. There appears to be quite a bit of variation in the size of these "standardized" switches and such.
