Just wondering if anyone has gotten the Diesel Freak Twin Stick Kit so far.
I suspect the Twin Stick Kit will be hard to keep in stock for quite a while. Diesel Freak working out a way to make the conversion work without tearing down the Transfer Case, other than removing the nose to get the Pill out will make the conversion a huge hit. Also not needing to cut out the floor for the shift levers is another big improvement. As is the use of the factory shift lever bracket to mount the new twin stick levers.
I believe I read or it was in a video somewhere that the conversion could be done in an hour. I am sure that would be possible if you were using a lift, and had all your tools rounded up. I would probably count on two hours for most mortals. Two hours is still a huge improvement over the time involved installing the Willy's Conversion.

I am in a catch 22. My wife would really like the shift levers to be back closer to the console, so that they are easier to reach. My Sheep Dog who rides on a folded dog bed between the seats votes for the levers to be closer to the dash out of her road.

I am really looking forward to getting the Diesel Freak Twin Stick Conversion installed in my Roxor.
Followed closely by a Limited Slip in the rear end.

I know it has only been Eight days waiting for a positive reply, but I would have thought one of our readers would have a kit in hand from the first batch of Twin Stick Kits by now.
USMC has promised us a review on the Twin Stick Kit's that he has on order. I believe that he has the Willy's Overland Kit in hand, and is now waiting on the Diesel freak Kit to install first.
I am not so patiently waiting on his kit to be delivered. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas to arrive.

I have gotten word that at least one kit has shipped.

My Diesel Freak Twin Stick kit did not arrive yesterday. It is out for delivery today.

UPDATE: Apparently FedEx did not want to deliver my Twin Stick Kit today. They said, "Customer not available or business closed".

It was coming to a residential address so I think the driver was lazy! So now, it is supposed to be here tomorrow the 4th.

Fed X used to be really bad about saying we were closed .We are a home but out in the country. The worst is when they say it was delivered ( a lie) and we'd look everywhere for it. That hasn't happened for a while so I think they have a better manager .

FINALMENTE! I did receive my Diesel Freak Twin Shift Kit.

I received (2) Shift Rods, (2) Shift Knobs (Unmarked), (1) Twin Stick Shift Boot, (1) Magnetic Shift Diagram, (2) Shift Linkage Rods, and (1) Floor Plate.

So, it appears that my Saturday morning will be documenting an install.

Now I need to go get a case of beer!

What Brand? :)

I for one am really looking forward to your write up.
I presume this will be a Driveway or Home Garage installation on Ramps or Jack Stands? Either should provide enough elevation.

I have been looking over Magnets to get the De-tent Ball & Spring out, followed by The Pill. The Magnet is probably the only tool needed that I do not own to do my installation. Just got to thinking I have not owned a working Shop Light in years. That is TWO things on my shopping list before I do my installation. Something you might mention is the diameter and length of the Magnet. I have never seen this mentioned in the "clipping a coil on the de-tent spring" posts. The Pill is also in deeper, requiring a little more length. That might help someone else out on getting all the tools together before starting.
Something else to keep in mind is the before and after shift lever positions. I am presuming that the new shift levers will be pretty much in the exact same location, just Two side by side. OR will they end up slightly forward of the factory position? The LEFT 2 Wheel Drive-Four Wheel Drive Shift Lever being closer to the driver and back a little further would make my wife happier. The Adjustable Shift Linkage might allow a more rearward location for the shift knobs. That thought just came to me. Something to think about.
I am looking forward to Saturday. I wish that I lived closer, I would be over to help.
